Chaz Bono is going to be on Dancing With the Stars and once that announcement was made, many people are making a big deal about it and trying to convince ABC (who, by the way, are still on my shit list for canceling One Life to Live) to remove Chaz...why? Because he's a transgender contestant. Question: WHY is that a big deal? This will be the first time DWTS will have a transgender contestant. That is NOT unusual! DWTS has had a handicap (Heather Mills, who ironically people also wanted her off all because of her pending divorce from Paul McCartney but she stayed until she went off; Heather did well), they've also had no talent-reality show 'celebrities' who do nothing like one of the Karadashians and The Situation from Jersey Shore.
I, for one, am supportive of Chaz being on DTWS. He's a human being after all, isn't it? He has two legs and two arms which are the requirements of dancing, right? Granted I never thought of Chaz as a dancer but hey, why not? Might as well have fun and show that transgender people are human beings.
