Bonnie's Husband
A rare picture of Bonnie with her husband Roy Thornton. They got married when she was a teenager. He was a criminal of robbery, going in and out of prison to the point she rarely saw him. The marriage quickly fell apart and she soon found love with Clyde. However, Bonnie never filed for divorce and never took off her wedding ring; she was wearing it when she died. Bonnie had last seen her husband in 1931 and he was in prison when he heard she died. He seemed to have been proud of the way she died- not happy like yay! -but the way she died rather than getting caught and going to prison. Like pride or something like it. He died not long after that.
