John Ingle passed away on September 16, 2012, 5 days after his final TV appearance of
General Hospital as Edward Quatermaine. From my understanding, it was John who requested his own storyline, his one-line, and gesturing (thumbs up) to little 'Emma Drake' when Edward passed his serum to be healthy again to her so she can lead a long life as he did. Although John was the replacement of Edward Quatermaine, he was the only Edward I knew, he was MY Edward. He also made a guest appearance on
The Golden Girls, so what's not to love? He will be missed. May he rest in peace with his wife.
