Dean Winters played Detective Brian Cassidy on Law & Order: SVU during the first half of the first season. He played John Munch's partner until he was replaced by Monique Jeffries (Michelle Hurd) and Fin Tutuola (Ice-T). Cassidy had a brief relationship with Olivia Benson (who wasn't really interested in persuing a steady relationship) and SVU took a toll on him that Don Cragen transferred him to Narcotics. Well, now he's apparently some security chief of some escort service...so this should be interesting. It would even be more interesting to see Brian and Olivia together. Before he left the series, he told Olivia that her job would her marriage while her lover would be the mistress-- 13 years later Brian is pretty much right. 13 years later, Olivia is still single and just got out of a brief secret affair with ADA David Haden (Harry Connick, Jr.). I'm hoping that the character will be married and have kids.
