Yummy of the Mood
Rocco DiSpirito. The first time I saw him was on Top Chef as a Judge and I thought "whoa Mama!!" Time to time I have seen him on The Best Thing I Ever Ate, one time he has appeared on Rachael Ray's talk/cooking show, and a few appearances on The Melting Pot. He's a cutie!

Saved by the Axe
Get this: General Hospital decided, out of the blue, to fire Rebecca Herbst from a role that she has been playing for almost 14 years- Elizabeth Weber. Why? Beats me! Considering that Rebecca was just in a major story (Elizabeth having her ex-fiance's brother's "baby" from their secret love affair...only the baby isn't Nikolas's, it's Lucky's, her ex-fiance's! But they don't know that yet); another thing that Rebecca should've been GH's star pupil: she has cut all three of her maternities leaves short just to go back to work!!! Who does that??? Usually you take a maternity leave it's a good 3 months but Rebecca would take a good month and a half. Luckily, TPTB (The Powers That Be) heard fans' outrage and rehired Rebecca back...good for you General Hospital!

Help! Premiere II
So Badly Wanted
Heartbreaking
Watching John McBain finding out that he wasn't the biological father to Liam, Natalie Banks's son (with Brody Lovett), it was heartbreaking. He loved that kid and to discover that he wasn't the father, oh how I wanted to comfort him! Great performances too! I really hope this isn't the end for good for John and Natalie, they are one of my favorite soap couples; if they can find their way again before, then they can certainly find their way back together again!
I still think Liam is John's, I had prayed that Vimal changed Natalie's paternity results instead of Jessica's...now I'm thinking that Marty changed them...anything to have John the biological father!
Rest in Peace Paxton
I was sad to see that Sonya Paxton, one of the many ADAs of Law & Order: SVU, was murdered in last night's episode, Pursuit. Sonya was played by Christine Lahti who has appeared on SVU a couple of times during the last two seasons and I've come to enjoy her appearances. Sonya I would best described as a character you just love to hate. I also enjoyed her chemistry with Christopher Meloni's Elliot Stabler. I will miss this character a lot...RIP

Third Time's the Charm
No Maureen
It's been often mistaken that the woman in front of Ringo is Maureen when, in fact, it's not. It's actually Jenny Boyd, Pattie's sister. Don't worry there was nothing going on between Ringo and Jenny (not that I know of!). So, where was Maureen? She was having their second child, Jason! I suppose you can call it maternity leave from the public eye.

It's Been 47 Years
It has been 47 years since The Beatles came from London, England to New York City, New York on February 7, 1964 for their first American tour and visit. It was a big career move for the Beatles and a big change for us who were recovering from the death of President John F. Kennedy just a few short months before. The Beatles' appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show that got the big ratings. Unfortunately I do not have any memories of this exciting time. Why? Because I wasn't born yet. It's a sad shame because I would have loved to experience that time; it's one of those "if I had a time machine" moments.
Relaxing in Miami
Lucky Wife
On the plane somewhere over the Atlantic Ocean, coming to New York City, New York, United States.

From all sources, it seems that John insisted that his wife Cynthia would travel with The Beatles to their first U.S. visit/tour. Their manager, Brian Epstein, approved of the request. This trip also marked the only time that a Beatles' wife (or girlfriend) would accompany the Beatles on tour. Lucky woman!

Bono Girls
For those who don't know, Sonny Bono had four children: Christy, Chastity (aka Chaz), Cheasere, and Chianna. This is Christy and Chastity in the early 1990s; I really like this picture of them together. I wish I could see photos of them together when they were much younger whenever Christy spent time with Sonny. I'm sure they do exist but as far as I know, they've never been published to the media.
I should note that if I post an old picture of Chaz when he was a woman I'll refer the picture as a Chastity but will tag it as Chaz.
