How I Will Remember Her

I am very sure that Elizabeth Taylor will forever be remembered as a woman who has been married 8 times, jewelry, her fight against AIDS, her long time friendship with Michael Jackson, being the "other" woman who broke up Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds (in Carrie Fisher's words: think Brad Pitt leaving Jennifer Aniston for Angelina Jolie), a talented actress who's been around the showbiz since 12 years old.

I remember reading an interview from her in a magazine several years ago when Elizabeth came close to dying, she saw Mike Todd who told her that her time wasn't over yet then. Elizabeth seemed to always consider both Mike and Richard Burton to be the two loves of her life which I don't disagree. I do believe that if Mike hadn't died, she would remain with him although it's very questionable if Elizabeth would have ended up doing Cleopatra with Richard, would she have left Mike as she did with Eddie for Richard? Very hard to say...Elizabeth did say that if Richard hadn't died, she would have married him the third time!

Elizabeth and Richard Burton guest starred on Here's Lucy where Lucy tried on Elizabeth's ring and it got stucked! Unfortunately I never really seen this episode myself although I would love to! My mom has seen it and she remembers it to this day as being very funny, so I will trust her word since I do love Lucy.
