Brian Had a Girlfriend

Before Brian Epstein was 'officially' gay (probably already realized or was trying to hide? Only the deceased man knew what he was feeling) he did date women. Here's one that was pretty serious:
Sonia was from Liverpool, England to Frank (a jeweller) and Ethel. At aged 15, Sonia left school to start a stage career. Sonia and Brian met at the Adelphi Hotel. Like Brian, she was Jewish and loved the theater and the arts. Their relationship lasted for two years- Brian even proposed but nothing official happened. Until one night during an outing, Brian pulled over and broke up with Sonia telling her that he was gay. After their break-up, Sonia changed her last name to Stevens and became successful in the theater business. Brian and Sonia kept in touch until 1963 when she last saw him in Liverpool.

I really like Sonia's sheer top...part of the dress? Shawl/scarf? Whatever it was, I like it, really pretty!
